Since childhood I have always wondered a lot about most couples.
Why are they together?
What do they see in each other?
Why is the beautiful woman with this ugly man?
Why is this handsome man married to this ugly woman?
I have been told love, money and fame make certain people decide to marry or date.
Experiences and observations have made me realise that there are different reasons why people decide to be together.
But I still wondered about some couples…
Today I witnessed something that has made me stopped wondering about couples.
I saw a young man urinating behind a neighbour’s wall with a young lady waiting for him. It was a disgusting thing to do, because it was someone’s house and a lot of people lived there.
I was wondering why the young lady was still waiting for him and did not just walk away from such an uncouth man.
We were all walking in the same direction and I was behind them.
Then this beautiful young lady started kicking an empty bottle on the ground and spreading rubbish around.
So I thought maybe they are together because they are both uncouth and it bonds them.
So now I finally understand sometimes certain hobbies can bond people.
Two people who love football or ice cream can decide to be together.
I love people who love food, we go out to just eat. Food bonds us.
Pleasure and pain bonds sadists and masochists respectively.
Writing bonds most of my wordpress followers and I.
Some people share some very weird hobbies together.
It is not always about love.
