The older I get, the more important I realise that a support system is needed in life.
I would not be here without a support system and very good one too. With friends and family that have given me their time, advice, money, encouragements, influenced situations in my favour, opportunities and more importantly hugs.
Nothing thrives without a support system. Nothing can live by itself. We all need something from someone or somewhere to be able to thrive and live our full potential.
I try my best to support anyone that I can help. I love the excitement and gratitude that I see when I tell some artists that I will organise free exhibitions for their artworks. I do this because I also have people that help me so that I can go out there to help others too.
Support system provides the assurance and comfort that we are not alone on our journeys in life. That we can rely on others to fulfil our potentials.
Life is a mystery that we need to unravel. We are not certain of the future so we need to constantly keep planning and asking for help along the way. There is no shame in asking for help when you need it.
Life is intertwined. Humanity is connected. We need each other to survive, progress, change and complete our journeys.
Sometimes things get difficult. I am always finding myself in trouble. Sometimes I feel I know it all and I can do everything on my own until I get stuck, then I call on a few people who help me out.
I am very grateful to everyone and anything that has helped me reach this far.
I am so excited about the future because I have my support system. I know I can call certain people and they will always be there for me. My journey is connected to several people; I need them as much as they need me.
Take a moment and imagine how your life would be without the people or things that enrich it. Appreciate them.
