Earlier today, I was walking with a friend by a busy road, when suddenly we heard a car screech loudly and people started shouting.
We turned and saw a little girl between 2-4 years old about to crash with a moving car.
My jaws just dropped and I was too frightened and all I could say was,
“Oh God, no no no! “
My friend kept shouting,
” Jesus! Jesus!”
I was looking under the car to see if the little girl had already been hit and was stuck there…
Everyone looked terrified and we all thought the little girl was not going to escape from the accident about to happen.
We all looked on helplessly, we wanted to help but we did not know how to grab the little girl from in front of the car which was unstable at that moment.
But the driver was very skillful and was able to avoid hitting this little girl by an inch.
There were children in the car and they looked terrified too.
It was all over within 15 seconds.
It was the most longest and terrifying 15 seconds of my life.
I have seen a lot of accident happen but not one involving a little girl.
The most captivating moment that happened immediately, was just funny.
The little girl who was unhurt quickly run to two other girls who were also standing by the roadside.
Another little girl of about the same age, grabbed the little girl’s hand and smacked it a few times and scolded her for crossing the road carelessly.
That was cutest moment I have ever seen.
I witnessed the most terrifying and cutest moments simultaneously.
Parents should teach their children about road safety and they should not leave them with careless people.
Everything went right at that moment for that accident not to have occurred.
Prayers, God, good driving and the screams of people around all played major roles.
It was just a miracle.
My friend believes God and his screams of Jesus saved the little girl’s life.
I believe God intervened and the driver also did well by steering his car immediately in another direction to avoid the accident.
Road safety is very important.
Everyone should take it seriously to avoid accidents, deaths and damages.
Stay Safe!
