MY VERSION OF THE TRUTH

We are all judgmental

Some people know how to shut up

There are others that cannot control themselves and just say them all

 

When we see things or people we analyse everything about it or them

Especially when the things are of interest to us

 

There are too many people seeking attention and approvals

If these approach me for my opinions, I tell them everything

Most often they get upset by the things I say because that was not what they expected to hear

I do not sugar coat my words

Whatever I tell you is exactly how I feel

That is why it is very difficult for me to apologise

I do not see why I have to should apologise for being honest

 

The most annoying part is when they keep coming back for more opinions and most often than not they leave disappointed

They think I will change my mind and say something nice

If I am proven wrong, then I would change my mind

But if I convinced of whatever it is I feel then I will stick to my opinions

 

Some people love being lied to

They live in denial

The truth might be too great for them to bear

They know the truth but do not want to accept it

They want to live in fantasies

WAKE UP!

This is reality!

Being lied to might feel good for a moment only if that is what you are looking for

But deep down you know something is not right

It better to accept the truth and deal with the pain than later

It might be too late then

 

I hate it when my friends over hype someone

When you finally meet him/her and he/she does not look like what they said

It is annoying

If you are dating an average looking man do not come and lie to me that he is extremely handsome or so fine and I begin to imagine Idris Elba or Boris Kodjoe

Some people have active imaginations

The images we create in our head are in 3D

 

The best thing to do is to shut up

Let your friends meet your partner and judge for themselves

 

If my version of the truth hurts you so bad, why do you keep coming back for more?

You know I am blunt and will tell you as it is

I might do you a favour and give you additional details

 

I love judging

But not aloud!

Whatever it is that I see or hear I quickly begin to analyse it

Everything is in my head until you ask me for my thoughts

 

We all have own versions of the truth

My truth might not be yours

You might also see things differently

 

Whatever truth I tell you
