Recently a very close person died and I realised I did not say goodbye to her. She was sick in the hospital but we all thought she would live.
From henceforth I will spend a lot of time with people I love. If I am traveling or running errands, I will hug them and remind them that I love them because we do not know the future. I might just go to the kitchen to get some food and return to see someone dead in the bedroom but was alive when I went to the kitchen.
Death is inevitable.
I have come to accept that we will all die, but most often we do not know the time nor location.
Even healthy people can die anytime, an accident or suicide bomber can kill them. We should not think that only sick people have higher chances of dying because some recover.
We should love ourselves too and extend our lives so we can spend more time with others.
Live!
